Articles of Faith

1. I believe in the verbal, plenary, inerrant, inspired Word of God, as preserved in the Received Greek Manuscript today. In my opinion the King James (Authorized) Bible is the most accurate rendering of this text in English.

2. I believe in the miraculous virgin birth of Jesus Christ.

3. I believe in the Trinity of God. Three persons comprising one God; the Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost.

4. I believe in the total depravity of the natural man, and the need for every individual to be born again through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ.

5. I believe that salvation is by faith in the sacrificial work of Jesus Christ, apart from any human work.

6. I believe in the eternal security of the believer.

7. I believe in the incarnation, crucifixion, death, burial, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ; and that He is physically alive today, making intercession for the saints.

8. I believe in the reality of Heaven, and Hell as real and eternal places.

9. I believe in the priesthood of the believer.

10. I believe in the autonomy of the local Church, and in a regenerated Church membership.

11. I believe in, and practice only two ordinances: The Baptism of the believer by immersion, and the Lord's Supper.

12. I believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ and the Pre-Tribulation Rapture of the Church.

13. I believe that Scriptural tongues, as presented in the Bible, and demonstrated by the Apostles has ceased.

14. I believe in the healing power of God, and acknowledge the Church's responsibility to pray for the healing of their sick, yet recognize God's sovereignty over the sick, and acknowledge that it may not be God's will for every individual to be healed.

15. I believe in the free will of every individual, in respect to salvation, and recognize that God has predestined every individual to choose to be either saved, or lost. I reject any idea that God has predestined any individual to eternal damnation.
